O nosso estudo centra-se na análise da evolução de um território situado a sul do distrito de Bragança. Analisámos os poderes da aristocracia e a sua relação com as comunidades pré-existentes. Durante a baixa Idade Média, esse território está ocupado por comunidades locais tuteladas pela aristocracia regional. Em simultâneo, o poder régio vai-se disseminando através da criação de novas comunidades sob a sua tutela. Essas novas comunidades, os concelhos, vão rodeando os senhorios aristocratas. No reinado de D. Dinis, o poder régio finalmente absorveu os senhorios existentes, primeiro reduzindo-os e depois integrando-os no seio das novas administrações que criou. Com este rei, uma nova tutela senhorial substitui a velha aristocracia. Agora, o seu poder e autoridade não emanam da tradição ou da linhagem, mas do rei. As comunidades locais vão se desenvolvendo e estruturando o governo local. A conjuntura política determinou uma mudança estrutural. O poder régio adota definitivamente a instalação dos senhorios donatários, como seus agentes. Um modelo feudal dependente da autoridade e política régia que coexiste com o modelo de autoridade local e concelhia. A terra pertence ao rei que a dá a quem lhe é fiel e obediente e lhe presta serviço, mas que não é alienada. Our study focuses on the analysis of the evolution of a territory situated south of Bragança district. We analyzed the aristocratic powers and its relationship with pre-existing communities. During the low Middle Ages, this territory is occupied by local communities overseen by the regional aristocracy. Simultaneously, the royal power will be disseminated through the creation of new communities under his tutelage. These new communities, municipalities, will surrounding the aristocratic landlords. During the reign of King Dinis, the royal power finally absorbed the existing landlords, first reducing them and then integrating them within the new administrations have created. With this king, a new manor protection replaces the old aristocracy. Now, their power and authority does not emanate tradition or lineage, but by the king. Local communities are developing and structuring the local government. The political situation led to a structural change. The royal power definitely adopts the installation of grantees landlords, as its agents. A feudal model dependent on authority and royal policy that coexists with the local authority and district council model.
