The aim of this contribution is to provide a brief description of a linguistic and bibliographic documentation project that studies the extensive border between Spain and Portugal. After an introduction on the main linguistic characteristics of the border territory and the guiding axes of the FRONTESPO project , the main sections and their characteristics will be presented in a succinct way.
