Actualmente no viven portugueses en el pueblo, pero antes sí que había muchos matrimonios mixtos. Hay 60 personas empadronadas, pero viven bastantes menos; antes llegó a haber 300 o 400 habitantes.

Hoje em dia não há portugueses a viver na aldeia, mas costumava haver muitos casamentos mistos. Há 60 pessoas registadas no censo, mas vivem aqui bem menos pessoas; em tempos, havia 300 ou 400 habitantes.
